Description
This is the Bronx River Parkway just south of the Woodland Place Viaduct. Unlike most areas of the parkway, where thick bordering vegetation hides bordering development and entrances are strictly controlled and restricted, houses are easily visible from the parkway drive and private driveways have direct access to the main roadway. Also notice that the southbound roadway is raised slightly above the northbound lanes. Location of photograph: White Plains - New York.
